Data safety

Use the data you are authorised to use. Keep its limits visible.

MAUZOP is designed to support restaurant decisions from authorised operating records while keeping evidence status, missing information and human review visible.

Authorised records

Restaurant data should be supplied or connected only by people who are authorised to use it for the relevant business and outlet scope.

Evidence state stays visible

Stored, uploaded, reviewed, malware-scanned and independently verified are different states. MAUZOP should not collapse them into one stronger claim.

Missing data remains a limitation

Incomplete or unavailable evidence should remain visible in the interpretation instead of being silently treated as zero or complete.

Human decision authority

MAUZOP provides decision support. Material business decisions remain with authorised people who can apply operating context the data may not contain.

Before uploading business records

The publication-approved Privacy Policy identifies categories that should not be uploaded unless a specific workflow requires them, including passwords, OTPs, private keys and payment-card secrets. Review the current policy before sharing sensitive material.

Upload handling

The current standard evidence path tracks malware-scan and verification states. If a malware scanner is not configured, the code is designed to keep the file on manual hold rather than promote it to clean evidence. Optional client-side encrypted evidence has a different limitation because plaintext is not available to the server for inspection.

Assurance boundary

This page describes product practices and code-level controls. It is not a certification, external audit report or guarantee that data loss, misuse or security incidents cannot occur.
